Customer reviews
Buyers have noted in their reviews a lot of advantages of memory kits: low price, high base frequency, two-way arrangement of chips.
Users were able to easily run memory on Ryzen systems at frequency of 3333 Mhz with timings of 16-18-18-38-56 and a voltage of 1.35V, which is significantly higher than the specified characteristics. In normal operation, the memory is not heated.
Buyers noted that this memory is one of the cheapest dual-channel versions for Ryzen-based computers, which works stably with overclocking, runs on an inexpensive motherboards and does not have Samsung chips.
Disadvantages: set in a double unsealed blister. You can open, no one will notice. The memory has stickers instead of metal foil radiators that can be easily removed if desired.
Works Great (When Not Defective)
Verified Purchase [May 15, 2017]
Bought this RAM because it’s the same model I originally got with my mobo when I built my computer.
Sadly the first batch that were sent to me were defective and I had to send them back, but I got my refund processed the same day and received replacement sticks 2 days later and they are working beautifully.Customer review from Amazon.com
Pay attention to Dual Channel and XMP during installation – low cost memory
Verified Purchase [August 12, 2018]++++ my requirements
I’ve put together a PC for photo and video editing. For this you should build at least 16 GB of memory. Since memory is unfortunately very expensive at the moment, I decieded to buy the cheapest. Later – if it will become cheaper – I can add 2 more units.
++++ installation
During the installation you have to be careful to push the memory into the right slots. I first had them in the outer slots so I had enough room for the cooler. After a few (more or less good) hints on Youtube and Amazon, I realized that this is the wrong configuration for dual channel operation and I should use A2 and B2 on my motherboard. This allows the CPU get simultaneously access to the two modules.
In addition you should activate in the BIOS “XMP” Profile, so that the memory really with 3000 MHz (1500 MHz * 2 = double data rate DDR4) runs, which unfortunately I did not check immediately. Had it on start only 2160 MHz.
++++ rating
The memory works perfectly for me so far. It runs on my ASRock motherboard with activated XMP Profile 3000 Mhz.
It looks relatively simple in terms of design and does not have any special cooling fins a la Transformers (like memory from other manufacturers), but since I have a enclosed case, I do not really care.
++++ conclusion
I am very happy with my purchase and can recommend this memory to everyone. I hope my test / photo is helpful and you do not make the same mistakes as i do (no XMP and wrong slots).
